A MOTHER’S GUILT

Suna is a very beautiful woman at her early forties. She owns a fish shop which she barely manages to run by the Göksu Coastline. She lives in a ghetto house with a garden near Göksu with her kids. She has worked really hard and saved some money to send her kids to school and purchased a cooperative house to give them a roof. Her biggest support in their life is her son Yusuf. Yusuf is at his early twenties. He is a very handsome guy. He is smart and extremely waggish. He sees his family above anyone or anything else. Despite their poverty, he doesn’t have a problem with their situation. Although he is young, he is mature and aware of the “real life” around him. He stands and sticks for his mother who has been both a mother and a father for them in every situation. He is Suna’s biggest hope. She has sent him to college and now he is a senior student. For Suna, good days are close. Once their cooperative house installations are over and once Yusuf becomes a lawyer, everything is going to get back on track. Suna has busted her gut at work for years and now she is planning to shut down the fish shop and cook for her kids at home. Then maybe Yusuf will be blessed with a good marriage and she is going to have grandkids to love. However, poor Suna is having all these lovely dreams unaware of the fact that fate will trip her up and make her fall…
